Therapeutic Active Cupping Technique Workshop at CIMT

The Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy proudly announces a new Continuing Education workshop TACT: Therapeutic Acute Cupping Technique April 25-27, 2026.

Therapeutic Active Cupping Technique is an incredibly versatile, modern style of cupping therapy using a vacuum therapy machine to control the intensity. The basic movements can easily be customized to accomplish a wide variety of techniques, from lymphatic drainage to deep tissue release. These techniques can be used to address many soft tissue conditions and injuries and can also be applied in spa settings for luxurious treatments. By creating suction and negative pressure, TACT is used to soften tight muscles, tone attachments, loosen adhesions, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.

This workshop is for right because you:

Understand the positive effects of negative pressure.
Have been cupping with silicon mushroom cups or a manual pump kit.
Are ready to take your practice to the next level.
